Gerald Zahn ist Mitinitiator des project space :] Schauraum und arbeitet in Wien als Medien- und Video Künstler.

Sein Interesse gilt dabei der Extraktion ausgewählter Alltagsobjekte und Phänomenen der Unterhaltungsindustrie.
Die medienübergreifenden Arbeiten fokussieren auf die visuelle Umdeutung und Ikonisierung von Normen und zeit-genössischen Platzhaltern.

Gerald Zahn is a co-initiator of the project space :] Schauraum and a media and video artist currently based in Vienna.

In his projects he works with everyday objects and commercial slogans to explore the phenomena of contemporary life, consumerist aesthetic and entertainment industry. His media-based works focus on the visual reinterpretation and iconization of norms and contemporary roles and lifestyles.
